                                What is EFT? 

                     

 We have long known that the mind and body are one. Emotional Freedom Techniques or EFTeffectively forms the bridge between talk therapies and body therapies, from the premise that negative emotions are the cause of all dis-ease (diseases) in the body.

 

EFT involves a simple process of tapping on stress-relief points, actually acupuncture points, on the body as you talk about your issue. You may be aware that certain situations tend to upset you. It's as if we have 'emotional wiring' programmed into us from prior experiences. 

 

EFT helps us "rewire" the emotional patterns within so that we are no longer triggered in painful ways. It is literally 'emotional freedom' to feel different, lighter, less burdened by the past, less susceptible to reacting with painful emotion.

 

 EFT is a simple and powerful therapeutic tool that uses words to tune into an emotional disturbance which is then balanced and cleared using acupressure tapping. The results are fast and generally lasting. Strong emotions such as fear, anger, shame and sadness dissolve into clear thinking, enabling a fresh perspective and forward movement.
